I hope this finds you well and enjoying this darkest day! This is one of my most favourite holidays ❤. Tomorrow we gain more LIGHT, and more and more LIGHT each and every day (until the Summer Solstice, of course) - but oh, how I just love LIGHT!
To celebrate the Winter Solstice this year, my daughter and I made lovely ice windows, inspired by an old nature crafting book found at a local resale shop (titled: NatureCrafts Seasonal Projects from Natural Materials, by Mary Elizabeth Johnson and Katherine Pearson). They are quite easy to make and fun too!
To make, just fill a pan with water and add nature clippings, bird seed, pods, etc., as well as string (that's strong).
Let it freeze overnight and then remove and hang. We hung ours on lilac branches.
With LIGHT-filled Blessings,
