Strawberry season will be upon us soon. The berries are just beginning on the plants, and lately I've had a bit of a strawberry-inspiration bug - drawing, painting and needle felting. And, I've been seeing strawberry motifs wherever I go it seems... funny & delightful how that works! Hand-in-hand these wee ones are off to the strawberry faire and I have to say that I would love to join them, wouldn't you? Who knows what lays ahead... maybe chocolate strawberries on a stick or a strawberry breathing dragon?! : ) Somehow it all seems a bit metaphorical, "going to the faire" and perhaps it is. Leaving the mundane for awhile to experience a bit of strawberry bliss. Thank goodness for imagination and creativity, and the wonderful, healing & highly un-mundane places they can take us to.
